Murchison Falls National Park, located in northwestern Uganda, is known for the stunning Murchison Falls where the Nile River bursts through a narrow gorge.

Tour Plan

DAY 1: ARRIVAL ENTEBBE / PICK UP

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be received by our company representative(s) and your tour driver/guide who will transfer you to your accommodation for the night. Dinner and overnight at the accommodation.

DAY 2: NATURE WALK, SUNSET GAME DRIVE

After breakfast, you will have a nature walk to explore the park on foot watch out for the birds and view the beautiful open savannah with photos. You will have lunch at the accommodation with an afternoon of rest. In the evening you will head for a sunset game drive in the Narus Valley in search of Lions, Buffaloes, Giraffes, leopards, Cheetahs and Jackson Hartebeests. Dinner and overnight at the accommodation.

DAY 3: EARLY GAME DRIVE KANANGOROK HOTSPRINGS

Breakfast then depart for an early game drive to the Kanangorok hot springs in search of the giraffes, ostriches, elephants and buffaloes. After lunch, you will enjoy a cultural experience after meeting the local leaders before interacting with the people of Karenga and Kapedo to learn more about their daily lifestyle as they show you the cow kraals, local grinding stones and cattle raring methods. Dinner and overnight at the accommodation.

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS

After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover en route at Gulu town for lunch and stretching. On arrival at Murchison Falls National Park check in to the accommodation for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE

After breakfast, depart for the game drive at the Delta to explore the park wildlife most especially the lions, leopards and some hyenas. Expect to also spot some animals like the leopards and elephants. Return to the accommodation for lunch as you prepare for the afternoon launch cruise of 2-3 hours to the bottom of the falls. After the cruise hike to the top of the falls to meet your driver who will drive you to the accommodation for rest, dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: DROP-OFF

After breakfast, your driver will first take you to explore the top of the falls before heading for lunch at Masindi then proceed to Entebbe Airport for your onward flight or drop-off at your accommodation.
