Semuliki National Park, located in the remote Semuliki Valley in western Uganda, is known for its unique biodiversity including hot springs, diverse bird species and primates. The park is part of the Albertine Rift and features both lowland tropical rainforest and savannah environments.

Kibale National Park, located in southwestern Uganda, is famous for its high concentration of primates including the largest population of chimpanzees in Uganda. The park covers 795 square kilometres and features a mix of tropical rainforest, woodland and savannah.

Tour Plan

DAY1: ARRIVAL ENTEBBE / PICK UP

Upon arrival at the airport you will be received by our company representative and your tour driver/guide who will transfer you to your accommodation for the night. Dinner and overnight at the accommodation.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, our guide will brief you on the tour ahead. You will then depart for Kibale through unique landscapes and plantations with a lunch stop at Fort Portal before continuing for Kibale National Park. On arrival check in to the accommodation to refresh and rest for the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the accommodation.

DAY 3: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING

After breakfast head to the park headquarters for a chimpanzee trek briefing before leaving for the Kibale Forest for a 3-4-hour experience in search of the famous chimpanzees until you locate and spend 1 hour with them for photos and more. Get back to the accommodation for a late lunch. Afternoon at leisure, with dinner and overnight at the accommodation.

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO SEMLIKI / EVENING GAME DRIVE

After breakfast, you will check out of the accommodation and depart for Semuliki. On arrival at Semuliki check into the accommodation for lunch and relax for 3 hours before heading for an evening game drive to track the hyenas and leopards. After the late game drive, head back to the accommodation for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: HOT SPRINGS AND NATURE WALK

After breakfast, you will leave for a nature walk to the Sempaya hot springs with its beautiful geysers that out up to 8 meters up enjoy an experience of boiling eggs and green bananas in the hot springs. Head back to the accommodation for a late lunch, dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: TRANSFER TO AIRPORT

After breakfast depart for Entebbe with a stopover at the Equator for photos and lunch. Proceed to the Airport for your onward flight or drop-off at your accommodation.
