Day One: Visiting Buganda Kingdom, Kasubi Tombs, Martyrs Shrine
We start our Kampala tours by visiting Buganda Kingdom to know more about the rich cultural heritage of Buganda (Uganda’s largest tribe) and stories of interesting early civilization in the Kingdom.
From there we visit the Kasubi Tombs were the Kabakas (Kings of Buganda) are buried and learn about interesting beliefs about what happens to the kings when they pass on and why the reigning king is not supposed to go the tomb. As a result the site remains and important place for the Ganda people.
We shall end the day with a vist at Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo where 22 martrys were burnt alive by King of Buganda called Kabaka Mwanga
Day Two: Bahai Temple, National Museum, Cultural Entertainment
We start day to with a visit to largest Bahai Temple in Africa located in Kisaasi to marvel at it’s beauty and cool abience around it.
We proceed to visit Uganda National Museum to see ethnological and natural historical exhibition that represents the country’s colorful past. Then we conclude with the visit at Craft Village which is an exhibition for all African craft.
