3 Days Gorilla Trekking

You will be picked by our guide from Airport to your Hotel in Kampala and after an early morning breakfast at 7:00 am you will be briefed about the whole safari before you travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is found in South Eastern part of Uganda. Along the travel, there is a local drum and craft making community so you will have a visit here.

Then a stop over at the equator and take photos and also make shopping of rafts along the way as you head to Mbarara town where you will have lunch. Thereafter proceed to Bwindi where you will arrive in the late afternoon, check in the lodge, relax and have dinner in the evening.

After an early morning breakfast, drive to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by park ranger on what to do and not to do while in the park and you will also be divided in 8 groups and after start gorilla trekking as directed by the rangers.

The experience of watching gorillas feed, play around and also do their day to day activities is amazing and memorable. This activities can take 2 hours to 8 hours since it is dependent on the location and movement of the gorillas. Also expect to walk long distance in muddy and steep condition and this will require you to have a walking stick. On meeting the gorilla, you spend an hour with them as you take photos.

After return to the lodge and in the evening relax or go visit the Batwa community and learn their culture of dance and also listen to stories that will leave you marveled and later have dinner.

Have an early morning breakfast and checkout of the lodge leaving behind the Switzerland of Uganda. And start a journey to Kampala passing through rolling with terraces and also you will have great viewing the lush vegetation of different areas you should go through.

Have lunch in Mbarara and the next stop over will be in Mbambire drum maker’s point. After buying drums proceed to Kampala late afternoon and the guide will drop you to the hotel or airport.
