Day 1: Cairo, Pyramids, Sphinx, bazaar.
Arrive Cairo, start by visiting the great Pyramids of Giza. The valley of the temple and the sphinx visit, the khan el Khalil bazaar. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Cairo, St. Catherine.
After breakfast drive via the Suez Canal to St. Catherine for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Mt. Sinai, monastery, burning bush, Dead Sea, Jerusalem. Climb mt. Sinai in the early hours of the morning. Return to hotel for breakfast. Visit the monastery of St. Catherine, the burning bush. Drive to Taba and cross to Israel. Drive through the resort city of Eilat and through the desert to the Dead Sea for the unique experience of floating in these waters which have amazing healing powers. Continue to Jerusalem and check into hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Jerusalem and Bethlehem. After breakfast drive up Mt. of Olives and enjoy panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem. Visit garden of gethsemane and the church of all nations. Visit Mt. Zion, the tomb of King David and the hall of the last supper. Continue to the church of St. Peter in Gallicantu. In the afternoon proceed to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Visit the shepherds’ fields and the church of nativity. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Jerusalem, old city. After breakfast enjoy full day in the Jerusalem visiting the old city. Visit the pools of Bethesda and the church of St. Anne. Walk along the Via Dolorosa following the Stations of the Cross. Visit the church of the holy sepulcher. Walk through the colorful bazaars and walk along the cardo, the ancient roman road. Visit the western wall. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Jerusalem, Tiberius, Yardenit, Cana, Nazareth. After breakfast leave Jerusalem, driving along the Jordan valley to Tiberius. Visit Yardenit, traditional baptism site on the Jordan River. Proceed to Cana, visit the wedding church, the site of the first miracle where Jesus changed water into wine. Continue to Nazareth, the town where Jesus grew to manhood. Visit the church of Annunciation and Mary’s well. Dinner and overnight in Galilee.
Day 7: Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Tabgha, mt. Beatitudes. After breakfast take Boat Ride on Sea of Galilee. Visit Capernaum where Jesus preached in the ancient synagogue. Visit Tabgha, the site of the miracle of the feeding of the multitudes. Continue to the mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Dinner and overnight in Galilee.
Day 8: Jordan Valley, Taba. After breakfast drive south via the Jordan Valley, visit an agricultural farm. Continue through the desert to the Taba border to cross into Egypt. Dinner and overnight in the Taba area.
Day 9: Cairo, museum. After breakfast drive to Cairo. Afternoon visit to the Egyptian museum. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
Day 10: Free day and later afternoon transfer to the airport for the flight home.
