Day 1: Arrival Johannesburg.
Arrival to O R Tambo international airport. Meet and assist VS travel representative and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon free for shopping. Overnight Johannesburg.
Day 2: Lesedi cultural village.
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit the Lesedi cultural village and experience the ethnic heart of southern Africa. Take in the many cultural diversities of our rainbow nation in a natural environment, enjoying delicious cuisine, tribal dancing, and a meeting with the chief in the Royal Kraal. After lunch-late afternoon return to your hotel. Overnight Johannesburg (B, L).
Day 3: Apartheid museum and Golf Reef city.
Breakfast at your hotel. Depart on visit to the apartheid museum this museum it’s a great way to learn more about the political system-“apartheid” that divided a nation for more than 48 years. After tour proceed to gold reef city theme park and meet your guide for heritage tour including Jozi’s story of gold, underground mine tour and gold pour. Rest of the afternoon to enjoy the rides in the theme park. Return to your hotel, overnight Johannesburg (B).
Day 4: shopping free…… today you will shop till you drop.
Shopping in Sandton and fourways area. Late afternoon return to your hotel. Overnight Johannesburg (B)
Day 5: Pretoria, Johannesburg, Soweto Tour.
Breakfast will be served at your hotel. After breakfast we depart on a full day tour including Pretoria, Johannesburg and Soweto. Drive to the capital city of Pretoria and drive past historical sites such as the beautiful Union buildings-the seat of administrative government of South Africa, freedom park, the huge Voortrekker monument-dedicated to the Afrikaner settlers, Kruger House- the home of Paul Kruger, Church Square, the city hall and Transvaal museum. After tour stop for lunch enroute to Johannesburg. Enjoy a city tour of the financial capital of south Africa-Johannesburg-your guide to point out all the significant places as we go along. Then embark on a discovery of the racial segregation experienced by millions of South Africans a mere decade ago. This tour takes you through the streets of Soweto and its adjoining townships. Taking in the bustling neighborhood life, we drive past Soweto’s informal settlements, more affluent suburbs, Mandela house, celebrities and make a quick stop at the Hector Peterson memorial (with entrance). This tour provides an insight into the 1976 Soweto uprising, the ANC’s exile, the apartheid system and the birth of a new democratic country. Return to your hotel for overnight Johannesburg (B).
Day 6: day visit sun city.
Breakfast at your hotel. Early departure to Sun City for full day visit including entrance to valley of the waves and lunch. Late afternoon return to your hotel. Overnight Johannesburg (B, L)
Day 7: Transfer.
Breakfast at your hotel. Check out from the hotel and transfer to O R Tambo International airport for your flight back home.
