Lake Kyoga, with a surface elevation of 1,033m, catchment area of 73,000km² and area of 1,729km² stretches upto 200 km, is a large shallow lake in Uganda. The Victoria Nile flows through the lake on its way from Lake Victoria to Lake Albert. The main inflow from Lake Victoria is regulated by the Nalubaale Power Station in Jinja.
